The Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Communication) program aims to cultivate students into adept leaders within the realms of communication, journalism, broadcasting, and marketing. This encompasses a comprehensive exploration of communication dynamics, interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, organizational communication, and cultural influences.
The Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication program aims to achieve the following objectives:
1. To equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for planning, managing, and evaluating communication programs effectively
2. To equip students with an in-depth understanding and profound knowledge of the field of communication, enabling them to proficiently design and produce multimedia outputs across various mediums such as print, broadcast, audiovisual, and electronic platforms.
3. To equip students with the theoretical and practical skills essential for designing, managing, and evaluating communication campaigns effectively.
4. To facilitate students in designing media-based learning systems and engaging in communication media research.
5. To facilitate students in acquiring a broad liberal education encompassing the arts and humanities, social sciences and philosophy, natural sciences, and mathematics.
6. To cultivate in students the cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility, and social consciousness requisite for becoming conscientious citizens of both the Philippines and the global community.
